Job Description
This position entails:
- Managing, writing and updating the company WordPress blog targeted toward educating consumers about the current job market, our analytics and
how to improve their job search
- Writing and editing copy for the company website, including product content, pricing, and job postings like this one
- Working with marketing and product to maintain consistency across the entire company
- Maintaining the company style guide and enforcing throughout the company
- Writing up any other needed content
- Taking complex topics, such as statistics and economic theory, and simplifying them for readers
- Staying knowledgeable about online and traditional marketing best practices
- Writing according to SEO best practices
Requirements:
- 1+ year of copywriting and copyediting experience
- Excellent English and grammar (with the ability to bend it in the name of style)
- Funny, entertaining and informative writing style
- Love of the written word
- Knowledgeable about online marketing writing
- Knowledgeable of and experienced with SEO best practices
- Experience with researching
- Knowledge of WordPress
Not Required, But Nice to Have
- HTML knowledge
- Social media experience
- Google Analytics experience
